Every chalk bag from Chalk Up! is one of a kind. There are no patterns or blueprints; each one is as unique as the climber whose harness it hangs from.
We take every opportunity to source and use up-cycled materials, taking jeans and other clothing that would have ended up in landfill and giving them a whole new life.
I loved my bag. Having it made from recycled MTP trousers makes it distinctive and unusual, and also a nice nod to my military service. It’s also well-made; robust and hardwearing, with every feature carefully thought through from the drawstring to the belt-loops and carabiner. Delivery was quick and efficient, and Kev was great to deal with.

I started out with an old pair of jeans and a sewing machine. First I made myself a chalk bag, then my friends wanted them, and now here I am making beautiful, one-off chalk bag from up-cycled materials for all climbers.
